Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery

The Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery, one of the specialty divisions within the Department of Surgery at Taipei Medical University Hospital, is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of morbid obesity and various diseases of the liver, biliary tract, pancreas, stomach, and small intestine. We provide state-of-the-art treatment options for patients by primarily utilizing minimally invasive surgery, including video-assisted laparoscopic surgery and Da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery.
